On March 6, Within the ‘Cinema in Catalan’ Cycle, we will show ‘Nunik’s Destiny'. The film is directed by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani, starring Paz Vega (Nunik) and Moritz Bleibtreu (Youssof), among others. This film tells the story of the Armenian genocide from the perspective of a family who lived in that country in 1916; awaiting the arrival of some relatives who live in Italy, they decide to restore a house. Unfortunately, the First World War prevents this family from reuniting. What is more, they will witness how their relatives from abroad find themselves involved in the Turkish genocide against the Armenians. The film is based on a novel by Antonia Arsian.
