The Japanese artist Hanamaro Chaki opens at the MUA its exhibition "La profunditat dels ulls" (The depth of the eyes), which shows how the painting "is able to describe the emotions and feelings through the colours and shapes", according to the exhibition commissioner, Bernabé Gómez Moreno. The event will take place next February 4, at 8pm, at the Sala Naias of the Museum and it includes a koto concert, with the Japanese harp, performed by Yoshie Sakai who will offer a repertoire in which she will mix classic pieces with new compositions.

Hanamaro Chaki's work describes an intimate and poetic world inhabited by mysterious characters, half animal half man, who show their fears and the ones of the human beings through their acts and gestures. Through the introspection and the meditation and being aware of our ambivalence as rational animals, Chaki creates timeless beings immersed in a sentimental maze and captured through the spots, the drops, the splashes, the colours, the figures and the delicate and full of energy brushstrokes that show the passions and the feelings of her characters. The exhibition will be open until April 17. The entrance, for both events, is free, but limited due to room capacity.
