THE UNIVERSITY VENUE IN ORIHUELA DEDICATES THE X CICLO DE LITERATURA Y TURISMO TO MIGUEL HERNÁNDEZ

On the occasion of the first centenary of his birth, the University Venue in Orihuela dedicates the 10th edition of its series about Literature and Tourism to Miguel Hernández. The series, which are part of the conferences of the Cátedra Loaces, will take place until March 18 at the Colegio de Santo Domingo. It focuses on the existing connection between the different writers and the literary characters, with their places of birth or the locations of the literary plots and the impact that it had in the uprising of specific tourist routes.

El Cid and Teruel, El Quijote and La Mancha, Dracula and Romania or Washington Irving and Granada, are, together with the Orihuela of Miguel Hernández, some of the topics that are going to be tackled. The conferences are coordinated by the UA professors María Dolores Pérez and Gregorio Canales, director of the University Venue in Orihuela.
