All contributions from the European Film Masters will be analyzed from 1 April to 8 May in the Villena University Venue. In this predominantly theoretical course, lectures will be combined with the screening of film excerpts, documentaries and interviews with the leading directors.

Each session will be exclusively dedicated to one of the selected authors. The first session, 1 April, will focus on the precursors of cinema Lumière & Méliès. On 3 April, it will be addressed to ‘Fritz Lang, tragic circle of destiny'. On 8 April, it will focus on 'Ingmar Bergman, God and man'. 'Alfred Hitchcock. The Master of Suspense, genius of manipulation' will be dealt with, on 10 April. On 15 April, it will be addressed to 'Luis Buñuel, the eye of liberty', and to 'One cannot live without Roberto Rossellini', 29 April. The last two sessions will be devoted first to 'Luis García Berlanga, forgiveness', 6 May and second to, 'Jean Renoir helps us to live', 8 May.

All sessions will take place from 8 pm to 10.30 pm in the Villena University Venue (c/ Trinitarias, 2C BC).
