MARISOL LA ROJA, WINNER OF "HIGH NOON" MONOLOGUE FESTIVAL

The jury of the 15th edition of Monologue Festival and Marathon “High noon” (Sol@ ante el peligro, in Spanish) chose Marisol La Roja and her monologue “Words” as the winner, and awarded second prize to Paco Vinal for “An accountant’s love declaration” and third prize to Mohamed Amine for “You better listen to them”. Best text award went to Paco Vinal, and public’s choice award was ex aequo for Marisol La Roja and Mohamed Amine.

First prize totals 600 euros, second prize is €400, and third prize is €200. Public’s choice award Fernando Chapín “Have a drink” totals €100.

Other participants in this edition were Nando Arroyo, Secundino Pecino, Emiliano Díaz, Sandra Sánchez, Mohamed Amine and María Cabrera.

The monologues will be performed in November in the show “The magnificent seven”, included in the Spanish Contemporary Authors Theatre Cycle. Also, the monologists will have the opportunity to perform in several shows to be staged at the University of Alicante’s venues.

The video of the final will be soon available at the UA’s culture service.
