CECILIA EUDAVE'S WEEK

From November 10, a series of activities will be devoted during the week to Mexican writer Cecilia Eudave, one of the most refreshing and interesting voices in contemporary Latin American narrative. The writer will give conferences and present her last book, En primera persona (published by Amargord Ediciones) at the University Venues of Alicante and Villena, in Alfaz del Pi Cultural Centre and in the Mario Benedetti Centre for Latin American Studies (CEMAB).

Activities programme:

Wednesday 12 November, 8.15 p.m., Alicante City Venue (4 calle Ramón y Cajal): Cecilia Eudave will present her book En primera persona and then be interviewed by Spanish-American culture Professor Carmen Alemany Bay, from the University of Alicante.

Thursday 13 November, 10.00 a.m., Cemab (Faculty of Arts 3): Conference by Cecilia Eudave - “Brief writing processes: short novels, tales and hyper-short stories”. After the conference she will present her book, En primera persona.

Thursday 13 November, 8.00 p.m., Cultural Centre of L’Alfàs del Pi: Cecilia Eudave will present her book En primera persona and then be interviewed by Spanish-American culture Professor Carmen Alemany Bay, from the University of Alicante.

Friday 14 November, 8.00 p.m., Villena Venue (located in Miguel Hernández Library): Last book presentation by Cecilia Eudave, followed again by the interview conducted by Spanish-American culture Professor Carmen Alemany Bay.
