This year, members of UA’s Lifelong Learning University Theatre Club (UPUA) will perform the play Más que días estupendos, which will premiere on 10 June, at 8 p.m, in the Auditorium. Entrance is free, and invitations are available at MUA’s MIC (Cultural Information Point of the University of Alicante Museum) and at UPUA Secretary’s Office.

The play is made up by 12 scenes with a common guiding thread, through which several characters will tell their life experiences. A large group of actors participate in this choral play, where each individual in particular and all of them as a group are the protagonists. Más que días estupendos is a comedy full of shades and different registers, whose characters revisit their youth and reminisce about the 70s and how they used to feel when their whole life still lied ahead of them.

According to its author, Más que días estupendos is a reflection on “a transformation that we can undergo in just ten or fifteen days, when we forget our former selves to become adventurous, fearless and bold, or maybe lazy and shy”.
