The MUA and Alicante museums to hold cultural event 'La Noche en Blanco'

For the third consecutive year, on 21 July MUA and the Alicante museumswill be hosting 'La Noche en Blanco', a cultural initiative born in Paris in 2002 where museums, art galleries and other culture halls remain open until late at night and offer theatre and artistic performances and concerts around their exhibitions.

In Alicante, this cultural event is organised jointly by the Alicante Fine Arts Museum (MUBAG), the Alicante Province Archaeological Museum (MARQ), the Juan Gil-Albert Culture Institute, the Alicante Museum of Contemporary Art (MACA), cultural centre Las Cigarreras, Lonja del Pescado exhibition hall, the University of Alicante Museum (MUA), the Volvo Ocean Race museum and the Aguas de Alicante museum. All of them will be open to visitors until 1 a.m.

This year MUA activities will start at 9 p.m. with theatre show La Transición 13/20 by Espacio Inspira and, afterwards, a flamenco and jazz fusion concert will be held by Hypnoze Project / Latin Groove Jazz. Entrance is free for all activities, but please bear in mind that  previous registration is required for La Transición 13/20 :
