Photoalicante and the MUA present the exhibition 'Monologue about Chernobyl'

Translated by Alejandro Puertas

Alicante, 14 March 2018

Raúl Moreno is a photographer who, through his photos, aims to give a voice to those who have been forgotten. He has achieved this in his new work called “Monologue about Chernobyl”. The exhibition can be visited at the University of Alicante Museum (MUA) general-use room within the context of the Photoalicante Festival (15 March at 8 p.m.) and it can be visited until 15 April.

His photos go beyond destruction and devastation. The main features of “Monologyue about Chernobyl” are the disaster and horror of the scenes from the point of view of those who inhabit that cursed land, as well as their poisoned food and their everyday life.
